Technology

The boarders have access to thirteen Pentium 4 computers in the Library at St. Joesph's House.  These computers are connected to the network at MacKillop College through a Virtual Private Network (VPN) which allows the students to securely access their files from school.

There is also several areas of St. Joesph's House that have wireless access.  These include the Library and all study areas.  All Internet use is filtered and virus scanned.

The Library is also equipped with a laserjet printer so boarders can print their assignments.

Students are permitted to bring their own laptops etc and have them connected to the wireless network.
