MacKillop College Twilight Fete

Fete Organising meeting next Wednesday, 10 February in the College Staff Room at 7pm. Everyone welcome. We would welcome your ideas, donations and any help you can give.

We again aim to keep all prices for this year's Fete as low as possible and to make it the best value fun evening for everyone!

WHATS ON

Our annual fete is just 3 weeks away and we have lots planned for another great fun, family evening. Unfortunately the change in ride providers at the Bathurst Show has forced us to find other providers so the amusements will be different again this year but we are pushing for some real fun rides with great value for money.

Live music, fun games & sideshow alley, the chocolate wheel, cakes, craft, home & garden produce, the excellent BBQ, Curry & Pasta stalls, Espresso, the Bargain Hunt stall ,,, and lots, lots more.

ALL THIS CAN'T HAPPEN BY ITSELF, WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS THE BEST COLLEGE FETE EVER

If you've already offered to help thanks so much. But if you haven't been asked or you want to get involved everyone is welcome. You can help by: • Volunteering to help on a stall or to coordinate a stall. Please fill out the form on the following page and return it

RAFFLE

The 2010 Fete Raffle is out again with great voucher prizes from Retravision, a great supporter of our College. At only $2 a ticket it is great value and every one sold helps us to reach our targets.

First prize is a $400 voucher, second prize $150 and third prize $50. Please return sold tickets to the College Office with the money by no later than Thursday 25 February. The raffle tickets will also be on sale at the Fete and will be drawn at 8pm that evening.WE NEED DONATIONS OF CAKES, SLICES, FRESH PRODUCE, PLANTS, PRESERVES, BOOKS, PRE-LOVED GOODS, CRAFT, ITEMS FOR THE CHOCOLATE WHEEL ETC, ETC.

In the past students have been asked to bring in items to help with the Fete. A suggested list is set out below. We also

need everyone to bring a bottle Year 7 Year 8

or jar of something for the bottle stall. Cakes, slices, toffees, rum balls, old books Craft items e.g. lavender, covered boxes, crocheted tea towels or flannels, handicraft items, patty cakes, toffees Pre loved goods, soaps, glitter gels, biscuits Coconut ice, chocolates, fudge, bubble bath, bath salts Fresh produce e.g. apples, cauliflowers, cabbage etc. Plants, preserves e.g. jams, jellies, tomato relish.

Years 9 Year 10 Year 11 Year 12 HOWEVER, if you or a Nan or Pop make a great cake, preserve or craft item and want to donate it from any year all items will be gratefully received.

Unless otherwise pre-organised donations should be delivered on Friday 26 February from 8.30 AM. At other times please check at the College Office for where to leave items.

First meeting for 2010 will be held from 7pm at St Pat's Sporting Club Kelso on Thursday 18 February. Registration Day will be on Saturday 20 February from 12 - 2pm at St Pat's Sporting Club Kelso.
