Yearbook Committee
Early in Term 2 students will be informed of the operation of the committee and may then apply, preferably in sponsor teams. Working in teams the Yearbook Committee firstly secures sponsorship to help cover the costs of production. In addition to this students can assist with typing, photograph selection and assorted other tasks associated with the production of the Yearbook. The Yearbook is published in the last week of the school year.
Yearbook and DVD Committee
At the first form meeting in Term 1 the Year 11 girls are invited to apply for the committee and interested teams complete an application form. Teams are then selected.
Each team is allocated approximately five or six projects for the year that they have to film and edit into short videos, usually between three and five minutes in length. The students develop sophisticated skills in both filming and editing and the finished projects are expected to be high quality videos. Each team has a project they are obliged to complete each term and all projects have to be completed about a week after the Graduation Ball. The finished projects are assembled onto the double DVD set of the Yearbook on Video, containing up to four hours of projects. The Yearbook on Video is made available for purchase by the students, ex-students and their families at the end of each year. The first Yearbook on Video was produced in 2002 and it has been an annual production since that time.
